Perhaps you want to brush up on a particular technique.
Or maybe you have a special project, but you need some help making it.
Tuition classes are a flexible option for learning to sew as you can learn what you want at your own pace.
During the class, you have plenty of teacher attention as you are in a private setting.
The content of the classes is customised to suit you and what you want to learn or make.

How it works
Step 1 – Register and pay for a scheduled class on the website OR contact me to arrange a class time that suits you.
Students must register and pay for their class at least 3 working days before the start date.
Step 2 – We discuss what you want to make or learn during your class or classes. We can do this via email or by phone.
Step 3 – I send you final confirmation for your class
Step 4 – You come to your class and we go through what you want to learn
Pricing
1-to-1 Tuition classes are either 2 or 3 hours long.
– 2-hour classes start at $69
– 3-hour classes start at $99
Full payment for a class must be received at least 3 business days before class starts.
Additional Students
Want to bring a friend to your tuition class?
An additional student is an extra $20 per hour.
(There is a maximum of 3 students total permitted in each tuition class)
– Bring your own sewing machine or overlocker or they can be hired for an additional fee.
– Prices include the use of studio equipment & tools.
– Prices exclude supplies for sewing projects, such as sewing patterns, fabric & notions.
Class Timeslots
Tuition classes are held on weekdays as weekends are reserved for group classes.
Morning Classes
– 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (3 hours)
– 9:00 am to 11:00 am (2 hours)
– 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (2 hours)
Afternoon Classes
– 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (3 hours)
– 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm (2 hours)
– 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (2 hours)
Evening Classes
– 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm (3 hours)
– 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (2 hours)
– 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (2 hours)

| Note about project supplies The cost of supplies for projects are not included in the price of tuition; as each student will need different supplies for their project or sewing exercises. Students are usually asked to bring fabric & matching thread. |
